Heather Sylvia, RN, founded KISS Medical Aesthetics where she helps clients look and feel their best using non-invasive procedures. She graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and then attended Bunker Hill Community College where she achieved her nursing degree. Heather successfully passed her licensure exam soon after graduating and became a Registered Nurse in 2021.
In between degrees, Heather gained experience in the medical field by working as an EMT in both a pre-hospital (911) and hospital setting. After a couple of years, Heather transitioned into the aesthetic field working at a cosmetic surgery center as a medical/surgical assistant. It was not until then did she confirm her passion to go back to school to become a registered nurse.
Before deciding to start KISS, Heather worked full-time as an ER nurse for three years and counting. In 2023, she completed the aesthetic bootcamp introductory courses and trainings through the Audrey Rose Institute for Medical Aesthetics in Woburn, MA.
Currently, Heather is pursuing both her passion for emergency medicine and medical aesthetics. What draws her to injecting is the ability to create an excellent experience enhancing clients beauty, or masculinity, through minimally invasive procedures.
Heather is beyond excited to share her journey in aesthetic medicine. She continues her education by attending advanced trainings and is always looking for opportunities to enhance client well-being. Within the next couple of years, she plans to advance her education even further to become an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner.
